About Alliance calendar usage

The idea of this calendar is to make co-operation easier. If we have siege defends or siege attacks, we can just put them into this calendar and all members of the alliance can see them and volunteer to join the fun.

In addition to sieges, we are going to use the calendar for co-operative raids, petitions for help for individual guild raids or just plain activity marker for others to know when we are up to something.

Those guild activities can be seen with the following format:

<Guild tag> <Raid target> <Extra info>

If we are planning to organize something that is meant for the whole Alliance, we can use "ALLIANCE" instead of the guild tag there.

When all guilds have their shadow entries in the calendar, we can organize Alliance raids on idle days or before/after other entries.

Alliance raid and event calender is now open!

Hello all, I finally got to do this. We are open for business!

Guild leaders, officers and raid-leaders should contact Aneksi (Borgan) right after they have signed up, so I can give you guys the admin righs to put up events, change your guild-details (contact persons etc), approve new members from your guild and overall have controll over the calendar to make use of it.

Everyone should start using the calendar by first creating and account. After the account is created, ask a friendly officer that has admin rights on the calendar to give you member access to the calendar. Then continue by creating "character"s from the menu. Choose your guild accordingly, put your lvl's (and when leveling up, remember to update) and stat-info (when geared up).

From "Create" menu chosen admins can create raids and events, and when added they will pop up on the calendar (frontpage). There are buttons admins can use to edit raid infos, dates and times. PHPRAIDER has some templates ready made, but feel free to create and save your own templates too!

You sign up on to an event by cliking the time-glass symbol on the event and choosing "available", that puts your chosen toon on available roster for that event. Notice, that you can on any later time untill the event is frozen, change your status and add comments (sorry couldnt make it, im having a baby).

Explore the menu-bar, it's all quite self-explanatory.

If you have any problems, use the alliance chat and someone from BotGC will forward you to our admins.
